Ingredients:

  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup (or 4 if you want the almonds to be a bit sweeter)
  • 2/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon

Directions:

Put all of the ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir until very well combined.

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Pour the almond mixture onto the parchment paper and spread them out so that they are flat and not overlapping.

Put the cookie sheet into the oven and set the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (no need to preheat). Bake for 5-8 minutes. Then, use a spatula to flip/stir the almonds around. Make sure they are all flattened out and not overlapping with one another before putting them back into the oven. Once flipped and stirred, put them back into the oven for another 3-5 minutes.

Remove the almonds from the oven when they are very fragrant and have darkened slightly (careful not to let them burn).

Let the almonds cool on the counter for 10-15 minutes before putting them into the fridge. Let cool in fridge completely before putting in an airtight container.

Store in the fridge.

Enjoy!
