Chocolate Nut Butter Cookies

If you’re looking for a soft, rich, creamy, and chocolaty cookie, look no further! These cookies combine three types of nut/seed butter with cocoa powder and chocolate chips to create a cakey, decadent treat!

Cookie Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup tahini (sesame seed butter)
  • 1 cup cashews
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup maple syrup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (I use dairy-free)

Cookie Directions:

Begin by putting the almond butter, peanut butter, tahini, cashews, cocoa powder, maple syrup, and water into your food processor. Process until smooth. Add the almond flour and mix until well incorporated. Finally, add the chocolate chips, and pulse to combine.

Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper. Using a medium-sized cookie dough scoop or spoon, scoop batter onto cookie sheets (makes about 32 cookies).

Bake in preheated 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10-15 minutes or until tops just begin to crack. Let cool on the counter for 10 minutes before transferring to the fridge. Let cool in the fridge for 1-2 hours to let them set.

Serve and enjoy! Store leftovers in the fridge.
